A couple of weeks ago I headed to London and as always a trip to London would not be complete without a few make up purchases!! This time I discovered the Urban Decay store in Kings Cross station. This was a gem of a find…….the staff were super lovely, knowledgeable and wanted to talk make up as much as me – I would have been there all day if I didn’t have a train to catch!!
I thought I would share with you my purchases:
The Urban Decay Naked Heat palette – Urban Decay are the godfathers of eye shadow palettes and the new ‘Heat’ palette is, in my opinion, the best of them all!! The shades are a beautiful array of warm coppers and browns. I purchased 2 palettes, one for work and one for myself and I since the day I bought it I don’t think I have used any other eye shadows. This is a real must for anyone wanting to perfect an autumn make up look.
Naked ultimate basics palette – Another Naked palette (Yes I am in love with them) but this one I have been eyeing (sorry, my bad excuse of a joke!) up for a while. It contains all matte shades and already it has become a staple for a lot of my weddings.
All Nighter setting spray – This was a re-purchase. I finish most make up looks with this spray to give the make up that little bit more longevity. It really does do exactly what it says on the time…..stay all night!
24/7 Glide On Lip Pencils in shades Snitch and Crash – I hadn’t used Urban Decay lip products before but after speaking to the staff in store they told me they are exactly the same as the eye pencils, just in different shades and this got me really excited. I really like the eye liners as they are really soft and easy to apply so I decided to give the lip liners a whirl. Up to now I have been very impressed!
Urban Decay Lipsticks in shades Wired and Snitch – I decided to my lipstick collection was lacking warm orangey shades and I had been meaning to pick up a couple of these types of shade for a while, so this was the perfect opportunity. Once again these shades are perfect for the colder months of the year.
I am pleased with my additions in my kit and I look forward to using them more with my winter weddings. If you find yourself in London make sure you go and check out the Urban Decay store, you won’t be disappointed.
